One engineer. Personally accountable.
WeBuild is an Australian AI engineering studio founded by computer engineer Johan Iskandar. Every system is architected, engineered, and deployed by the founder personally — no account managers, no juniors, no outsourcing.

The story
I'm a computer engineer who splits my life between Sydney and Kuala Lumpur. On both sides of the ocean I kept watching the same scene: smart operators paying full salaries for work that is 80% repetition — while being sold software subscriptions that automate none of it and lock them in anyway.
WeBuild is my answer: treat AI as leverage you own. Scope the work. Build the agent. Supervise it until it's trusted. Hand over the keys. I build every system myself, and the goal of every engagement is that the client never needs me again.
How I work
- "We" promises, "I" builds. The brand makes the standing promises — we hand over everything, we fix our misses. The building is me, personally, every time.
- Real code, versioned, tested, documented — a system that survives its builder. Everything ships with a runbook.
- Honest to a fault. I'll tell you what not to automate. If a $30/month SaaS tool solves your problem, I'll say so and we're done in one call.
- Safe by design. Autonomy without approval gates is a liability — every agent runs inside The Cage.
Why "one engineer" is the feature
Agencies sell you a team and staff you with juniors. Here, the person who scopes your workflow is the person who architects it, builds it, and answers when something needs fixing. Accountability doesn't get lost in a handoff chain — there isn't one. And because everything is built to survive its builder, you're never dependent on me either. See how an engagement runs or the work so far.
